This year the Girl's Golf Team had an awesome season. They finished 2nd in their league, 1st at Regionals and 8th at States. Over all the season was a great success and hopefully next year they can even play better. Practices usually start during the middle of August and anyone who wants to be a part of the team is encouraged to practice during the summer. Individual awards include Haley Bandt, Mariah Massa, Jessica Peatross and Kaitlyn Plascencia receiving First Team. Casey Harkema received Honorable Mention. Haley Bandt, Casey Harkema, Mariah Massa, Jessica Peatross and Kaitlyn Placencia were awarded All Conference. Mariah Massa and Jessica Peatross were on the 2009 Lansing State Journal Dream Team. Also Mariah Massa was named Lansing State Journal Girl Golfer of the Year.
