National Honors Society
National Honor Society is a nationwide organization dedicated to recognizing outstanding high school students. Students wishing to be admitted must undergo a rigorous selection process, needing a high grade point average as well as community service. To be accepted, students must have demonstrated excellence in the areas of Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character.
Membership not only recognizes students for their outstanding achievement, but also challenges them to develop further through involvement in school and community activities. Holt has a very large chapter of NHS, and every year more outstanding students join this prestigious club. Some activities that NHS sponsors include the blood and food drive. NHS likes to host events that help give back to our community and let the students of Holt get involved.
*To sign up for NHS next year go to the Counseling Office and pick up a packet.
