What is the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA)? It's a club that was formed to educate students and other members of our community that there are students who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (GLBTQ). GSA hopes to create a safe enviornment free from harrassment and antibullying for all of Holt High School students. This group has about 15-20 members, and is run by Mr. Runyon and Ms. Umpstead who encourage all people to join regardless of their sexuality. This club participates in a few events that happen throughout the year, such as: Fish Bowl, Ally Week, and other activities. They always meet in room W121 every Friday after school. If you have any questions, you should go to a meeting, or go talk to Ms. Umpstead or Mr. Runyon.
