The Environmental Club is made up of the truly dedicated students who want to help out our community and make a difference. This year they ask for more people to join the club as long as they have honest intentions. So far they have a large to do list because they plan on really taking charge this year. You can check this list out and add their group on facebook at

Their current task at hand is working on getting the students to recycle their milk bottles. They recieved donated bins from Granger and put a small hole in the top for the bottles. They are located on both the east and west commons by pillars on both sides and have a sign to let you know thats where you can recycle your milk bottle. Hopefully the school will pick up on this eco-friendly routine! We're all looking forward to your accomplishments!

Environmental club raised over a hundred dollars from the bake sale held right before break! Great job! They got their plastic bottle recycling bins and are working on decorating them to put up around school. This will help the overwhelming build up in individual classes. They are also working on putting more informative posters up so make to keep an eye out for those!

At the last meeting, Environmental Club discussed many new projects for the spring. They want to hold a 5K run, start an organic garden in the east side courtyard, plastic bag recycling in local stores and businesses, and setting up donations jars to help pay for the garden. The compost they ordered to put in the staff room is in and they are currently waiting for the worms to get settled in for use.
