Junior Mariah Massa received the Lansing State Journal Player of the Year award. Mariah has been golfing or has just been around golfing since she was a very young girl. Along with receiving the Player of the Year award, she also received the awards for The Dream Team, All-State, and All-Conference. Mariah earned this award by shooting consistently throughout the whole season, showing that her practiced paid off. She is most proud of finishing within the top 10 in every tournament she participated in throughout the year. Next year, Mariah is striving to receive the All-State award for two years in a row and she is also striving to play better.
